CRAIG WHITAKER

Coach Craig Whitaker is a 1995 graduate of Perry High School. There, he was a two year letterman as a pitcher and center fielder for the baseball team. Craig was named 2nd Team All County.

Craig graduated from Kent State University in 2000 with a BA in Earth Science. While attending Kent State he played three years of baseball for the Golden Flashes. In 2000, Craig was the starting center fielder for the Golden Flashes. In 2000, the Golden Flashes were crowned Mid American Conference (MAC) Champs. Craig earned 1st Team MAC All Academic honors as a senior.

Craig worked in the Cleveland area as an Environmental Consultant three years. He is currently teaching science at Perry High School. He resides in Canton with his wife Liz.
